The
owner didn't know what Johnny's problem was, but the other boys would constantly tease him.
They would always comment that he was two bricks shy of a load, or two pickles short of a
barrel. To prove it, sometimes they would offer Johnny his choice between a nickel and a
dime, Johnny would always take the nickel -- they said, because it was bigger.
One day, after Johnny grabbed the nickel, the store owner took him aside and said, "Johnny,
those boys are making fun of you. They think you don't know that the dime is worth more
than the nickel. Are you grabbing the nickel because it's bigger, or what?"
Johnny turned toward the store owner and a big grin appeared on his face. Johnny said, "Well,
if I took the dime, they'd stop doing it. So far I've saved $20!"Mark Phillipshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00601652717542654531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7179114314622312316.post-89553912255296702082009-04-23T08:19:00.000-05:002009-04-23T08:19:00.000-05:00I didn't know April was Humor Month.
No, I'm not...I didn't know April was Humor Month.

No, I'm not terribly good at remembering jokes. Maybe I should start a file. I get jokes sent to me and they make me laugh, but then I forget them. That's it. I need a Humor folder on my computer.

Helen
http://straightfromhel.blogspot.comHelen Gingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09794759602654727110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7179114314622312316.post-44424486196426465872009-04-22T07:47:00.000-05:002009-04-22T07:47:00.000-05:00Did you hear the one about the three ducks and an ...Did you hear the one about the three ducks and an anteater?

When I lived in California, I had a neighbor who greated me every day with the opening of a joke. He usually forgot the middle part, though. He had the opening and the punch line. We'd work together to try and figure out the missing part.

Do you remember jokes?Charlotte Phillipshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09336641340221491792noreply@blogger.com
