Birthday Blues
One of the drawbacks of being a road warrior (one who goes to work via airplanes) is that you are often not where you feel you should be. Today is one of those days. My fiance, writing partner, and love of my life celebrates a significant birthday today - one of the years that ends in 0. I'm not there to celebrate with him and the ten minutes or so that we'll spend on the phone tonight hardly feels adequate. So I'm using today's post to send a personal message.
